Summary of Specifications:
The intent of the following bid specifications is to detail a roadmap of equipment and services necessary to remove and replace of an existing truck scale located at Okaloosa County’s Baker Landfill. Following is a description of services and equipment necessary for removal of existing truck scale, installation of a PV (portable vehicle) rental scale, demolition of old foundation, construction of new foundation with appropriate ramps and installation of a new 70’x10’ digital electronic precast concrete deck truck scale with 25 year load cell warranty. All pricing involved with accomplishing the full scope of the project shall be included in the bid response. This includes, but is not limited to, all freight charges, all labor charges, all equipment charges, crane charges, equipment rental charges, construction charges, installation charges, setup and calibration charges and final training charges.
Truck Scale Equipment Requirements – as detailed in specifications:
1. 70’x10’ digital electronic precast concrete deck truck scale. The National Type Evaluation Program (N.T.E.P.) approved scale shall have a minimum capacity of 100 tons and have a minimum concentrated load capacity (CLC) of 80,000 lbs 2. 70’ rub rails mounted down both sides of the scale platform 3.
