Summary of Specifications:
Project. Manage Build, plan and construct this project, hereafter referred to as “Project”, in accordance with the criteria contained herein and using industry commercial grade products, materials, installation, and methods to Department of Defense and Air Force requirements.
1.2 Title and Location. Project FTFA 15-1155, Construct Fire Training Facility, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This Project is located within the Fire Training area, Building 931 on Arrestor Road (off Perimeter Road), and south of Test Range A-112 between Taxiway H and Runway 01- 19. Objective. The objective of this turnkey project is to design and construct a foundation (27 ft x 73 ft), gravel path, and associated exterior electrical components for a prefabricated live fire structural trainer (22 ft x 49 ft x 40 ft high) adjacent to Building 931. The supplier for the pre-fabricated structure shall be experienced in installing the Westec Insulation System; construction drawings and specifications including specifications for Westec Insulation System have been provided with this SOW for Contractor’s reference. The Contractor will be responsible for coordinating all design and construction of the prefabricated structure.
