Summary of Specifications:
Purpose: It is the intent of Okaloosa County to secure a firm price for purchase, delivery, and set-up of 2,000 stacking chairs for the Emerald Coast Convention Center as specified herein, as well as removal and disposal of 1,988 existing chairs.
Bid Prices: Bidders shall bid unit prices, F.O.B. destination, for the purchase and delivery of chairs for the Emerald Coast Convention Center. Such price shall include cost in full for all transportation, labor, materials and equipment used to deliver said chairs to the point of delivery and removal and disposal of the existing chairs. Bidder shall provide a visual of the replacement chair with their bid submittal.
Delivery: Prices in bid shall include delivery to Emerald Coast Convention Center (ECCC) located at 1250 Miracle Strip Parkway SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. Successful bidder shall notify ECCC Operations Manager at 850-609-3800 at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to delivery. Delivery can be made Monday thru Friday, between the hours of 7:00 am and 2:00 pm, excluding holidays.
Awarded bidder shall schedule the delivery and set-up of chairs during off or slow periods of the day in order to not interfere with the normal operations of the ECCC. The ECCC is to be kept operational unless otherwise scheduled and conveyed to the ECCC Operations Manager. Bidder shall also be responsible for the removal and proper disposal of existing chairs.
