SCOPE OF WORK

Okaloosa County is in need of a Clay Pit to furnish material for road construction projects. The following conditions are a requirement for bidders:

1. Size – Site needs to be 80-100 continuous acres in size.

2. The site needs to be accessible by County equipment. Some equipment will stay on site.

3. The material must be inspected and tested by the County Public Works Department to ensure adequate quantity and quality of clay.

4. Preference to site location will be given to the North Central part of the County.

5. Okaloosa County is requesting a purchase offer and/or a price per yard from a private owner’s clay pit. The County preference is an outright sale. (Closing costs would be negotiated).

6. Owner must include documentation to show the legal description of the property, a general map showing the property location and documentation showing ownership.
