RFP-CIMS - Develop & Implement Crisis Information Mgmt. System (CIMS) Softwar

Summary of Specifications:
The Okaloosa County Public Safety Department has the need to replace its current Crisis Information Management System (CIMS). Okaloosa County desires to replace this system with a fully operational system by May 1, 2007. 

The current system is used to manage incidents that are the responsibility of the Okaloosa County Public Safety Department. The current system is EM 2000 supported by BizCom. There is no requirement to transfer any archived historical data to the new system. The winning proposal will provide a recommendation for hardware and software. The total system should have redundancy built into the design with failover capability to ensure operational integrity in the event that the Public Safety Emergency Operations Center is relocated to a secondary location. Each operational hardware component should have redundancy built into its design. Okaloosa County will purchase the recommended hardware and have it delivered to the winning vendor if required for initial setup and configuration. The proposal should include the cost of all software including operating systems, applications, database management and any middleware required to support a minimum to 50 concurrent users. The software should be able to interface with ESRI SDE and/or IMS in order to provide GIS functionality. The proposal should include cost for an implementation plan and cost for offsite and onsite installation of the plan. System backup and recovery recommendations are also a necessary component of the proposal. Okaloosa County will require onsite training for system administration and end user training for Public Safety staff.
