Summary of Specifications:
SCOPE – The work covered by this section includes furnishing all materials required. No substitutions will be accepted unless approved by the Purchasing and Water & Sewer Departments.
1. Lift station package to include the following equipment: fiberglass wetwell (15.71’ deep), fiberglass valvepit, pumps, MCC panel (Motor Control Center), pumps and associated piping for inside the wetwell and valvepit. Bidder will furnish equipment (bidder will plumb the wetwell and valvepit) and OCWS will install.
2. See attached construction plans dated 04/13/2009. The lift station is on Sheets 7-11.
3. See attached specs.
4. Pumps specified are: Hydromatic S6AX (1000 GPM @ 35.5 TDH), 10.75 in impeller, 15 HP, 1150 RPM, dual voltage 230V/460V. Wemco, KSB or Essco will be considered.
5. The lift station will also include SCADA, but SCADA is not included in this bid package. The MCC panel shall have SCADA terminations.
6. Electrical service to lift station will be 230V, but may be upgraded to 460V service in the future. Pumps shall be dual voltage 230V/460V, and MCC shall be configured to 230V per attached OCWS specifications.
7. Contact OCWS for a copy of the geotechnical report for existing soil conditions.
