LEASE OF COUNTY OWNED LOT
GENERAL LEASE CONDITIONS & SPECIFICATIONS
1. BACKGROUND – Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners (The County) owns a lot located off Beachview Drive, N. E., Ft. Walton Beach, FL. The County will accept offers to lease this property.
2. LIMITATIONS – Persons submitting offers to lease this property must submit what they intend to use the property for. The County here limits the use of this property to parking. No other use will be allowed. Failure to comply with this directive can and will cause cancellation of the lease and forfeiture of any deposit guarantee or prepaid lease payment.
3. PRICING – The price quote shall remain firm for the period covered by this lease.
4. TERM OF LEASE – The initial term of this lease shall be for one (1) year with the right to renew the lease for four (4) successive one (1) year periods for a total of five (5) years under the same terms and conditions provided the tenant is not otherwise in default under the lease.
5. LEASE PAYMENTS – Lease payments shall be payable on an annual basis on October 1st of each lease year beginning October 1, 2012. As noted on the Bid Sheet, submit monthly and annual pricing in order to properly bill for months leading up to October 1, 2012.
Payments shall be in the form of a Certified or Cashier’s Check made payable to “Okaloosa County, Florida”. Checks will be mailed to:

Checks should indicate they are for a Lease Payment and show the property address.
