RFP-20-12 - Okaloosa County 12th Ave Sidewalk Addition (Eng & Design Serv)

Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa County requests Letters of Interest for engineering and design services related to the 12th Avenue Sidewalk Additions Project. Construction documents for this LAP project are to be designed in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as the FDOT 2012 Design Standards and 2010 Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. The design effort will be performed in accordance with all FDOT LAP requirements. 



DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK – Work associated with this contract includes design and engineering activities (topographical survey, right-of-way assessment) necessary to develop the construction plans for the addition of pedestrian sidewalk along the south side of 12th Avenue in Shalimar, FL. The project limits are from SR 85 (Eglin Parkway) east to 12th Street. The approximate length of the project is 0.90 miles.
