Summary of Specifications:
The unit required and covered by these specifications shall be the manufacturer’s latest basic production model and shall be equipped with all standard equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s latest literature; a copy of which must accompany the bid along with any and all specifications necessary to verify that the unit either meets or exceeds each and every one of the following minimum specifications.
The equipment must be a John Deere 644K High Lift, Volvo L110 H Long Boom, Caterpillar 950M High Lift, Komatsu WA 380 – 8 High Lift or County-approved equivalent.
Bidder is required to complete blank spaces as provided on each line item. Plainly list each item offered on bid and expressly state any variation from bid specifications.
Parts and service must be readily available to Okaloosa County, Florida.
A. Engine
1. Diesel engine, minimum 190 net hp
2. Coolant conditioner or filter

4. Three (3) rear view mirrors mounted on cab. One inside cab and two outside, one on each side.

8. Gauges and indicators; visual hydraulic oil level indicator and gauges for fuel engine coolant temperature, engine oil pressure, charging system, hour meter and transmission oil temperature, or preferably, an electronic monitor for all fluid levels and temperatures.

16. ACS Pro 2000 Series combo-coupler size 60 with hydraulic pin actuation. Gives the machine the ability to pick-up attachments equipped with either the next size larger or smaller Pro-Series class female adaptor.
17. Joystick hydraulic controls with mandatory 3rd valve for Grapple rake. Hydraulic lines to include quick disconnects. Machine shall be
equipped with separate hydraulic functions for coupler locking pins.
18. ACS Grapple Loader Rake coupler equipped for ACS Pro 2000 Series combo-coupler size 60. Grapple Loader Rake width 120 inches, height 66 inches, with nine teeth.
H. Loader Performance Requirements (per latest issue of SAE J733, J818 & J1234)
1. Operating weight minimum 41,000 lbs. with standard and optional equipment as specified in these specifications. The use of added counterweights (I.E.) calcium chloride, rear counterweights other than factory standard not acceptable to obtain operating weight or break-out force minimum.
2. Minimum tipping load, SAE rating in straight position of 23,000 lbs. Condition same as for operating weight in H-1.
3. Full lift dump height 10 feet 5 inches minimum.
4. Breakout force 30,000 lbs. with standard bucket.
I. Cab
1. Full sound insulated cab with ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure) and FOPS (Falling Object Protection Structure).
2. Full adjustable deluxe suspension seat.

K. Warranty
1. Manufacturer’s standard warranty with travel time and mileage included shall be for at least 12 months. State warranty length and description of coverage.

N. Manuals
1. Two (2) sets each of operator’s manuals, manuals, parts manuals and master shop manuals to cover engine, drive train, electrical system, etc. County will accept CD versions in lieu of books.
2. Payment will not be made until all manuals are delivered.
