ITB-02-12 - PJ Adams Pkwy-Western Crestview Bypass Okaloosa County

Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa County requests Letters of Interest for preliminary engineering and design services related to the future four-laning of PJ Adams Parkway/Antioch Road as a western bypass around Crestview. Conceptual construction documents for this LAP project are to be designed in accordance with the Project Development & Environment (PD&E) study performed by Okaloosa County. Design standards shall be in accordance with FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction 2010 edition. Neither development of complete construction documents nor a construction effort is a part of this project. The preliminary design project will be performed in accordance with FDOT LAP requirements; specifically FPID: 421997-2-38-01 between FDOT and Okaloosa County. 



DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK – Work associated with this contract includes engineering and associated activities (topographical survey, geotechnical exploration, right-of-way assessment) necessary to develop the preliminary design for the future four-laning of P.J. Adams Parkway/Antioch Road as a western bypass around Crestview. Project limits for this portion of the design are from SR 85 west to Wildhorse Drive/Northview Drive. The approximate length of the project is 1.162 miles. 

All work to be performed shall be in accordance with the LAP Agreement between the Florida Department of Transportation and Okaloosa County, FPID: 421997-2-38-01. All design plans are required to be submitted to FDOT for review and approval in an effort to coordinate permitting by the Department.
