RFP-Video Streaming - Video Streaming Services

Summary of Specifications:
PURPOSE – The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select qualified vendors that can provide live streaming web video services with archived and indexed retrieval. The streaming video must be able to be easily indexed to a corresponding document or agenda and archived so that it may be available for viewing via the internet. Once archived, the solution must have the ability to click on a segment of the indexed agenda or document and display that corresponding part of the video. 

BACKGROUND – There are two primary meeting locations in Okaloosa County that are approximately 30 miles apart. These sites are linked by fiber optic cable running TCP/IP 1G Ethernet. The North location is in the Crestview Courthouse (101 E. James Lee Blvd.) and the South location is in the water & Sewer Administration Building (1804 Lewis Turner Blvd.) in Ft. Walton Beach. Currently, the County does not host a government access channel nor broadcast Commissioner meetings on its website.
