RFP-CS2006-1 - DESIGN-BUILD SERVICES FOR OKALOOSA GAS DISTRICT FREEPORT FACILITY

Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa Gas District (the “District”) is seeking proposals from qualified design-build contractors to design and build a four thousand eight hundred (4800) square foot pre-engineered steel building on an approximately two (2) acre site located in the Freeport Industrial Park, Walton District, Florida. The site parcel number is 35-1N-19-17000-001-0026. The civil engineering and development order work for this project have already been accomplished by the District. The scope of work is to include site development and building design, including all required rough-in plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems to support installation of modular offices and construction of bathrooms/shower and a fully equipped kitchen by the District after construction is complete. The facility will be used for warehouse storage and to provide office space for District personnel supporting District operations in Walton County. This Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is being released to invite qualified design-build contractors to prepare and submit proposals in accordance with instructions provided where one successful candidate will be selected and invited to enter into a contractual relationship with Okaloosa Gas District for the Services outlined in this RFP. In this RFP, the terms Proposer and Contractor are used interchangeably unless the context indicates otherwise.
