RFI-CS2007-01 - Employee Uniforms

Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa Gas District (“the District”) issues this Request for Information (RFI) to determine which qualified vendors possess the capability and interest in providing employee uniforms and uniform cleaning services to the District. This is part of the District’s market research to define requirements for incorporation in the follow on solicitation targeted for late April or early May 2007. Responses to this RFI will not result in the award of a contract. However, if it is determined that there are only a few qualified respondents with sufficient capability and interest to provide these services, the District may seek authority to enter into negotiations with those respondents. If, on the other hand, there are a sufficient number of qualified respondents, the District may choose to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), an Invitation to Bid (ITB) or an Invitation to Negotiate. Uniform cleaning may be sought in a separate solicitation depending on the responses to this RFI. Okaloosa Gas District will not provide compensation to any respondent to this RFI for any expenses incurred by respondent for response preparation. All responses to this RFI and any supporting documentation will become District property. PLEASE NOTE: This Request for Information (RFI) is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an Invitation to Bid (ITB).
