Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa Gas District (“the District”) issues this Request for Information (RFI) to determine which qualified vendors possess the capability and interest in providing commercial-off-the-shelf contract management software to the District.
This software should be tailored for contract management within governmental activities such as municipalities, counties and Florida special districts such as Okaloosa Gas District. This is part of the District’s market research to define requirements for incorporation in the follow-on release of a solicitation targeted for early March 2008.
Responses to this RFI will not result in the award of a contract. However, if it is determined that there are only a few qualified respondents with sufficient capability and interest to provide these products, the District may seek authority to enter into negotiations with those respondents. If, on the other hand, there are a sufficient number of qualified respondents, the District may choose to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), an Invitation to Bid (ITB) or an Invitation to Negotiate.
Okaloosa Gas District will not provide compensation to any respondent to this RFI for any expenses incurred by respondent for response preparation. Respondent submits its response at its own risk and expense. All responses to this RFI and any supporting documentation will become District property.
INFORMATION REQUESTED FROM INTERESTED VENDORS:
Brochure and/or website information that includes product description, product options and normal pricing structure for a contract management/administration solution that will streamline the entire contract lifecycle for any type of contract or agreement, from initial solicitation/authoring to contract close out. Only those companies offering a complete solution, to include managing, tracking, searching and robust report writing capabilities need respond.
