The work shall consist of the Lacoochee Well Site Improvements as described in the Contract Drawings and Specifications. The work includes but is not limited to: A new skid-mounted pressure filter package system, composed of three (3) vertical pressure filters with interconnecting piping/valves/instrumentation and associated controls. A blower, to be provided by the filter manufacturer, is included as part of the project. A new FRP tank is also required for collecting filter backwash waste. The work requires tie-ins to existing piping to route water to/from the new filtration system. The new filter system / appurtenances (including blower) and filter backwash waste tank will sit on a new concrete foundation. Yard rock is placed around the concrete foundation to the extents shown on the drawings. New security fencing around the new facilities is also included. Piping from the FRP backwash waste tank is routed to an existing sewer manhole. The project includes a small amount of demo, including some existing tree stumps, existing fencing, and a small amount of piping as needed to make the tie-ins required to route water to/from the new filtration system. Project requires pre-startup, startup, and commissioning services required to get the facility into operation.
