IFB-KM-21-012 - LITTLE ROAD ADVANCED PHASE III TRAFFIC MANGEMENT SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Little Road ATMS Phase III is an Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS)/Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) project along Little Road (C.R. 1) from Star Trail to West of U.S. Highway 19 (S.R. 55). And from Government Drive to North of Ridge Road. The project will expand the existing ATMS/ITS system at Star Trail towards the north connecting nine (9) signalized intersections as depicted within the bid documents. Other improvements include the installation of traffic monitoring cameras, inductive loops, cabinets, controllers, and other equipment as specified on the plan set. The Contractor will be required to flag existing utilities and stake the limits of the right-of-way to ensure proper placement of infrastructure. The project also includes the upgrade of existing fiber optic trunk line from Government Drive to North of Ridge Road by removing the existing fiber line and replacing it with a 144-count fiber optic line by utilizing existing conduit runs and pull boxes to accomplish the connection at the Traffic Management Center on Government Drive. Plans and pay item numbers shall adhere to FDOT Specifications January of 2021 and Standard Plans FY 20-21.
