Piggyback Contract

Description

The Santa Rosa County School District is looking to purchase a new band tower for Gulf Breeze High School in Gulf Breeze, FL. The new band tower must be a permanent, metal structure, and be under 35' from grade to rooftop. At minimum, the band tower must feature two observation levels with an enclosed stairwell or a ladder that can be locked to prevent unauthorized access to the tower. The band tower must meet applicable guidelines for structure and installation according to Florida Building Code. The band tower will go behind the school on the practice football field where an exisiting band tower is located. The existng tower will be demolished and removed by Santa Rosa County School District.

Permits

The contractor is responsible for obtaining all applicable permits for this project.

Drawings

All Engineered drawings are the responsibility of the contractor to provide. Drawings can be submitted with your proposal package or after the award before construction begins.

Materials & Labor

The awarded contractor must provide all materials and labor for full installation of the Band Tower at Gulf Breeze High School. This includes removing any excess and disposable material left over from the project.

Project Completion

The preferred project completion date for the Band Tower at Gulf Breeze High School shall be no later than 08/01/2023.
