ITB-05-18-RH - Post Hurricane Forestry Recovery Project

Summary of Specifications:
Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis destroyed thousands of trees on the University of West Florida campus. This tree planting project will focus on replacing trees in the areas on campus that sustained the most damage. This project will be executed in two phases. The first phase of planting, approximately one-half of the trees, will be completed in April, 2006 with a second phase in October, 2006 to plant the remainder of the trees. The specific species planted in each phase will be determined by UWF staff in collaboration with the successful contractor. The University of West Florida intends to purchase these trees in accordance with accompanying specifications. Goods are to be delivered to and the work is to be performed on the main campus of The University of West Florida, 11000 University Parkway, Pensacola, FL 32514.
