This document covers the scope of work for more than one project. VMGTI reserves the right to combine, alter, or separate individual scopes of work as it sees fit. Additionally, other unique Marine Engineering projects may be added to the work scopes covered by this Request. Work scope 1 shall consist of a project on the north side of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens to increase the height of an existing seawall, extend it with an earthen dike, establish a run of Tiger Dam deployable flood barriers on the north walk, and replace an existing swimming pool railing with a permanent, aesthetically appropriate flood barrier in accordance with schematic drawings previously developed.
Work scope 2 will include installation of a sheet pile flood wall immediately behind the existing and historic retaining wall that flanks the easter perimeter of the Theater and Maze Gardens to which an aesthetically appropriate concrete fascia will be applied,
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens may, but makes no commitment to, retain the selected Consultant for additional marine engineering projects, involving resiliency or otherwise, around the site. Such projects, if pursued, shall be through executed Work Authorizations subject to the terms o the executed professional services agreement and this RFQ.
