RFP 2022-004 - Old Mill Redevelopment Project

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the City of Douglasville (“City”). The purpose of this RFP is to bring in a qualified development firm (“Firm”) to serve as master developer to construct a market-rate, mixed-use signature development at the Old Mill Site located at 12171 Veterans Memorial Highway. This signature development should incorporate a mixed-use commercial development and additional residential, in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. The Habitat for Humanity homes will be targeted toward workforce housing, specifically, for public servants (i.e., public safety personnel, educators, government employees, etc.). The available acreage available for the residential component makes most sense for single family attached housing, but the type and number of units are up for negotiation.
