IFB # 23-002 - SOUTHEAST BROAD STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT

The City of Fairburn will accept sealed bids from qualified Contractors for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the SOUTHEAST BROAD STREET PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT #23-002. The work includes the removal of existing curb & gutter, sidewalk and driveway aprons as required, installation of new curb & gutter, installation of new sidewalk, replacement of existing sidewalk as required, installation of new driveway aprons, and the installation of new ADA handicap ramps. The contract will also include preparation of sub-grade, saw-cutting and demolition of existing asphalt and concrete, as well as clean up and backfilling. The scope of the base bid will be conducted on the south side of Southeast Broad Street, from west of Fairburn Industrial Boulevard to the west of Senoia Road. The scope of Add Alternate # 1 consists of all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to install new ADA handicap ramps, and to replace existing handicap ramps, install new sidewalk, and replace existing sidewalk and curb & gutter as required. All work will be conducted on Senoia Road, from SE Broad Street to Fairburn Industrial Boulevard. All work must be completed within one hundred and twenty ( 120) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed with Construction (NTP).
Bids will be received at the City of Fairburn at City Hall, 56 Malone Street, Fairburn, Georgia 30213 (phone: 770-964-2244) until 2;00 PM, December 14th, 2022, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. No bid may be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for a period of 60 days after time designated for receipt of Bids or until notified by Owner, whichever is sooner. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and informalities.
