The City of Milton is accepting sealed bids from qualified firms for the Citywide Street Sweeping for the Public Works Department in conformance with Title 32, Chapter 4, Article 4, Part 2 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated. All work will be done in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation’s (GDOT) Standard Drawings, Standard Specifications (current edition), and Pay Items Index as standards and specifications for the construction and completion of the work required. All bidders must comply with all general and special requirements of the bid information and instructions enclosed herein.
Project scope is for street sweeping and debris removal services throughout designated areas within the City of Milton. This will be done a minimum of two times a year with a total mileage per sweeping of approximately 47.22 curb miles of roads/streets within the City. All Bids for these services will be submitted as a Cost-Per-Curb-Mile Unit Cost. Proposals will also include a Cost-Per-Curb-Mile for any additional and or emergency sweeping and debris removal services which the City may designate. Prospective bidders are encouraged to visit the streets to help in determining the scope of work, site conditions, workspace, equipment access, etc.
The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton.
