The City of Milton is requesting bids from interested parties to construct trails, a restroom, a boardwalk and a pier at Providence Park, 13440 Providence Park Drive, Milton, GA 30009. This will be a federal-grant-funded contract and will be subject to applicable grant requirements of the Recreational Trails Program and Land and Water Conservation Fund Program. All work must be completed by November 30, 2021. The Restroom Facility must be completed by September 17, 2021.
To bid on this contract, the Contractor must be listed on the current Georgia Department of Transportation Pre-Qualified Contractors list. No exceptions. Additionally, the Contractor must have completed similar project(s) within the past three (3) years. All qualified proposals will receive consideration without regard to age, handicap, religion, creed or belief, political affiliation, race, color, sex or national origin.
The City intends to enter into three largely identical contracts with the winning bidder. Use of multiple contracts is for purposes of keeping the work funded by each grant separate for reporting purposes.
The City of Milton reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals and to waive technicalities and informalities, and to make award in the best interest of the City of Milton.
