2022-04 - Request for Professional Design Services of the Valley Hill Rd Roadway Project

The City of Riverdale, through its Public Works Department is soliciting quotes from qualified firms for Professional Design Services for the Valley Hill Road Roadway Project. The design will include preparing preliminary engineering and PS&E. The Project consists of, but is not limited to, design of approximately 3,900 linear feet of widened roadway.  The new roadway section shall match the section presently being constructed by Clayton County east of the Riverdale City Limits. That is, four through travel lanes (two each way); a raised median with left turn lanes; piped drainage; curbs; gutters; and a 5-foot wide ADA-compliant sidewalk separated from the back of the curb by a 2’ wide grass strip on each side.  Also included in this scope of work is the survey of the entire length of the route to the width required to complete the design.  The Selected Provider shall also determine the additional right-way required to construct its design and prepare easement or acquisition plats for each affected parcel.
