The City of Tucker is requesting a website redesign that includes development, training, hosting, support and content migration that will allow the website to align with government goals and citizen expectations. Experience in government websites is a must. The goal is a user-friendly focused site with a clean layout and orderly presentation, intuitive navigation and the technology to support an increasing demand for online services from residents, businesses and visitors. The site must be ADA compliant and mobile-friendly, with a backend website content management system that’s easy to use, even for staff without technical backgrounds. The last major redesign of the City’s website took place in 2018. Since then, technology and accessibility expectations have changed, and more city departments want a role in shaping their online presence.
The planned website redesign project will start on or about November 1, 2022.
The current City of Tucker website must remain operational during the transition period. Proposers should describe the process they use to facilitate a smooth transition.
