The County is hosting an event to allow citizens to drop appropriate waste at remote site locations in the county.
The County requires a provider for the weekend of April 21st & 22nd, 2023.
There will be two (2) sites set up with a layout of either Four (4) 30-yard roll off containers OR Three (3) 40-yard roll off containers for a total of 120 cubic yards per site.
The County will need drivers to continually pick up full containers from each site and bring them to empty at the Clayton County Landfill. There will be No Landfill tipping fee charged for this event.
All roll off containers must be empty and in place at the designated locations on the day of the event.
1. Drop-Off Containers to both site locations by 10am Friday, April 21st. Pick up containers for final drop off of contents at the Landfill from each site at the close of the Event Friday, April 21st.
2. All containers are to be stored at the Landfill overnight from Friday night to Saturday morning.
3. Pick up Containers from the Landfill for drop-off to both site locations by 7am on Saturday, April 22nd.
4. Final pick-up of all Containers at the close of Event at 1pm Saturday, April 22nd.
(The roll off containers cannot be dropped off at either of the locations the Thursday before the event starts and the roll off containers must be picked up on Saturday April 21st at the close of the event.)
There will be a minimum of Three (3) drivers needed for this weekend; one (1) dedicated driver per site and one (1) on-call driver as needed for either site. The sites and the loading of containers will be overseen by County staff to ensure there are no unauthorized materials loaded.
