The Cobb County Police Department is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the Purchase of Safety Equipment and Accessories for Police Vehicles.

The County expects to continue to purchase new police vehicles each year as the Department continues the assigned car program. The Department also has a large amount of aging and high mileage vehicles that need to be replaced over the next several years. The Department will be transitioning from primarily purchasing Ford Interceptor Sedans, to the primary purchase of Ford Interceptor SUVs and Dodge Chargers. As new vehicles are purchased and aging vehicles are replaced, the Department will purchase related safety equipment and accessories.
