Description

This proposed project consists of a 10-foot multi-use trail on the west side of Mableton Parkway
(SR 139). The project, in conjunction with the existing 10-foot trail and Mableton Parkway Trail -
Phase I, will provide a continuous 6 mile connection from the Chattahoochee River to the Silver
Comet Trail. The project limits begin at Factory Shoals Road and extend north to Veterans
Memorial Highway (US 78) for approximately 1.30 miles.
Consultants are encouraged to include value-added benefits into their approach for this proposal
including but not limited to measures resulting in cost savings, reduction in right-of-way impacts,
avoidance of utility impacts, and designs to reduce long term maintenance.
