Description

COBB COUNTY, GEORGIA, a political subdivision of the State of Georgia, provides services for the safety and general welfare of an unincorporated population of over 700,000 residents. Such services are provided under the authority of the Board of Commissioners and the Constitutional Officers of the County.

The Cobb County Fire Department currently has 801 full-time authorized total positions. Of that total, 705 positions are authorized as sworn personnel. The County is seeking a qualified vendor to provide administration and conduct medical examinations compliant with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 1582 Comprehensive Occupational Medical Program for Fire Departments for health, wellness, and prevention.
