21-6575 - RFP - PC, Printer, Peripheral and Server Hardware Maintenance

Cobb County is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for the maintenance of PCs, printers, peripherals and server hardware in all County departments. 

Cobb County Information Services is responsible for providing technology equipment, services, and support to all Cobb County Government departments. The objective of this RFP is to receive competitive proposals for the maintenance of desktop computers (PC), ruggedized mobiles (MDC), tablets, laptops, printers, peripheral hardware and servers installed in those departments. Cobb County has approximately 2,800 owned PCs, MDCs, and tablets/laptops; 3,800 leased Dell PC/laptops being deployed over the next three years (1,250 per year); approximately 1,400 printers and other peripherals installed at multiple county facilities; and 160 physical servers.  The facilities are generally grouped into four main campuses (Marietta Square, County Services Parkway, WestPark Government Center on Whitlock Avenue, and Powder Springs Station on Powder Springs Road) with smaller offices across Cobb County.  Mobile equipment will be serviced in the respective departments’ main offices or in Information Services on the Marietta Square. There are approximately 400 service requests per year. The list of covered equipment can be found on the Bid Forms (Attachments A, B and C). Qualified vendors may respond with a bid on PCs/Printers/Peripherals or Servers, or both.
