25-0064 - OUTSOURCING CALL ANSWERING AND SCHEDULING FOR HBMC IMAGING DEPARTMENT

The Imaging Department at Hilo Benioff Medical Center supports an array of diagnostic services that serve the inpatient and outpatient community. Most noted services are Angiography, CT, Diagnostic X-ray/Fluoroscopy, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound. The imaging department is located on the first floor of the Hilo Benioff Medical Center at 1190 Waianuenue Ave., Hilo, Hawaii 96720.

The department supports operations 24 hours each day, however the busiest periods are from 6:00am HST - 6:00pm HST Monday-Saturday. On average the Imaging Department receives 600 calls each day and is involved with the scheduling of thousands of procedures, at this moment there exists a back log of 3500-4000 procedures that must be scheduled for services with our Imaging Department.
