One (1) sealed proposal from each prospective Bidder will be received by the CHICAGO ROCKFORD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT at 60 Airport Drive, Rockford, IL 61109 until 10:00 AM local time on Friday June 12, 2020 for the construction of CONTAMINATED STORMWATER DETENTION – EXPANSION & REHABILITATION at which time bids will be publicly opened and read. Faxed proposals will not be accepted. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Sealed bids must be submitted in an envelope marked: Bid for CONTAMINATED STORMWATER DETENTION – EXPANSION & REHABILITATION; BID NO: ITB #20-11; IL PROJECT: RFD-4733; AIP PROJECT: 3-17-0088-084.
The project work consists of the following major items and approximate quantities:

Furnish and Install Cell Liner – 444,500 SF, Remove Existing Polyethylene Liner – 440,185 SF, Remove and Replace Rip Rap – 3,700 CY, Remove and Replace Liner Protection (Earth) – 11,350 CY, Earthwork – 34,080 CY, Liner Subbase – 6’ Depth – 49,400 SY, Aggregate Access Road – 4,200 SY, Effluent Control Structure Upgrade – 1 LS, Remove and Replace Existing Aeration Equipment – 16 EA, Seeding – 2.2 Acre, Mulching – 2.2 Acres.
Additive Alternate No.1
4” Sanitary Sewer Line – 140 LF, Sanitary Valve Vault – 1 EA, Sanitary Meter Vault – 1 EA; Misc. Site Electrical – 1 LS

Furnish Aspirating Aerators – 4 EA
