Description

The Greater Rockford Airport Authority (GRAA) has made a significant investment in the Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) and recognizes that an opportunity exists to capitalize on the unique attributes of property available at the airport. The Airport Authority has undertaken analysis of potential opportunities for the further development of the airport. GRAA has identified further opportunity for air cargo and distribution related aviation development. (for additional information please visit www.rfdcargo.com). Site use permits exclude 1st line air cargo handling, thus air freight arriving or departing RFD will be required to use GRAA authorized on-airport portals for freight transferred in either direction.

All questions or request for clarifications must be submitted to the following e-mail address: rfp@flyrfd.com. All questions must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m, local (central) time on January 11, 2022 and no responses to additional questions after that time will be provided except at the discretion of the Airport Authority. An addendum will be issued addressing questions received on or before the stated deadline and made available via Bid Net. (Respondents shall limit communications regarding this RFQ to the above e-mail. A Respondent that deviates from this requirement is subject to disqualification.
