The City of Peoria is requesting Proposals from lawn careprofessionals to mow and maintain the facilities, boulevards, and rights-of-way in the City of Peoria.

The City of Peoria is committed to maintaining the facilities, boulevards, and rights-of-way to the City of Peoria requirements. The City understands that it is essential that the boulevards and rights-of-way are mowed and trimmed to maintain the beauty ofthe neighborhood. The City of Peoria is responsible for lawn mowing and maintaining over 95 locations of boulevards and rights-of-way that consist of approximately 78 acres. City staff is looking for Contractors to provide these services.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, and equipment to mow, trim, and remove litter and planting at select facilities, boulevards, and rights-of-way within a designated route as assigned by the City of Peoria

RFP SUBMISSION INFORMATION - There are two (2) options for RFP submittal.

Mailed Option - Sealed bids – one (1) original and three (5) copies – will be accepted by the City of Peoria at the Peoria Public Works Facility located at 3505 N Dries Lane, Peoria, Illinois, 61604, until 2:00 p.m. on March 9, 2023. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the bid title and bid number marked on the outside (RFP #16-23 Mowing – Facilities, Boulevards & Right of Ways). Please include your company name and return address on the outside of the envelope.

Electronic Option - Bids can also be submitted electronically through BidNet. Only one copy is needed. Please see Attachment E in the documents for additional information and instructions

Bids received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly recorded immediately following the closing time set for the receipt of bids.
