OVERVIEW– The intent of this RFQ is to solicit qualifications from experienced housing rehabilitation contractors for the City of Peoria. Contractors who meet the qualifications will be contracted with the City and added to a pre-qualified list of vendors to complete various rehab projects.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK - This program will include the rehabilitation of houses in the City of Peoria. The experience contractor would be expected to function as the general contractor for each job.

RFQ SUBMISSION INFORMATION - There are two (2) options for RFQ submittal.

Mailed Option - Sealed proposals – one (1) original and three (3) copies – will be accepted by the City of Peoria at the Peoria City Hall – Purchasing Division: 419 Fulton St. RM 108, Peoria, IL 61602, until 2:00 p.m. on September 12, 2024 Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the bid title and bid number marked on the outside (RFQ # - RFQ Title). Please include your company name and return address on the outside of the envelope.

Electronic Option - Proposals can also be submitted electronically through BidNet. Only one (1) copy is needed. Please see Electronic Bid Submission Guidelines (attached separately in BidNet) for additional information and instructions.

Bids received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly recorded immediately following the closing time set for the receipt of bids.
