Currently, advisors at Illinois Central College rely primarily on our Student Information System—along with other applications such as Microsoft Outlook, HighPoint mobile and other PeopleSoft add-ins, and ImageNow document imaging—in the performance of their advising duties. Our current SIS system is
PeopleSoft Campus Solutions v9.2. While it is an effective system for storing student data, navigating the user interface for accessing data is cumbersome, and the system is not built for managing caseloads, communicating with students in multiple channels, facilitating collaboration in service of the student, or creating and managing documents. ICC is seeking a system that is designed primarily to facilitate the advisors’ ability to serve students effectively and efficiently, promoting student empowerment, engagement, and persistence.
