Both medical plans are selfinsured, self-funded health plans, currently offered through UnitedHealthcare. Effective with the union agreement ratified in 2015, new members of the Indian Prairie Education Association (IPEA) only have the option of choosing the High Deducible health plan. Effective with the union agreement ratified in 2022, new members of the Indian Prairie Classified Association (IPCA) only have the option of choosing the High Deductible health plan.
Dental coverage is currently offered through Delta Dental. Vision coverage is currently offered through UnitedHealthcare. Health savings accounts, FSA and commuter benefit accounts are administered through Inspira.
