Description

This work shall primarily consist of the pulverization of approximately 30,000 square yards of existing asphalt pavement, aggregate base repairs/undercutting, and placement of a 2.5” hot-mix asphalt binder course and 1.5” hot-mix asphalt surface course along Bahr Road, within Kane County. Within flood plain limits, work will be limited to a 4” mill and overlay with 2.5” hot-mix asphalt binder course, and 1.5” hot-mix asphalt surface course (approximately 1,760 square yards). Other appurtenant work shall include the removal and replacement of existing driveways (asphalt and aggregate), longitudinal joint sealant, pavement markings, and traffic control and protection.
