INTRODUCTION
The County of Peoria is currently accepting bids from qualified vendors for Bid #33-02-22 Heddington Oaks Drainage Improvements.

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING
A mandatory pre-bid meeting/site visit will take place on June 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Heddington Oaks, 2223 W. Heading Ave., West Peoria IL 61604.

PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT
This project is a Public Works Project and will be subject to Prevailing Wage Act. Please see "General Instructions to Bidders" for details. In addition to the Prevailing Wage Act requirements, Peoria County requires any General, or Sub-Contractor for contracts of $5,000 or greater, to participate in an Apprenticeship Training Program and to submit a “Certificate of Apprenticeship and Training” with bid response. General Contractors will be required to submit names of any/all subcontractors to be used on this project.

BID INFORMATION
Sealed bids – one original and two copies – will be accepted by the County of Peoria, Purchasing Division, 324 Main Street, Room 501, Peoria, Illinois, 61602, until 2:00 p.m. on July 11, 2022. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the bid name and number and the due date and time marked on the outside. Please include your company name and return address on the outside of the envelope.

Bids received after the stated date and time will not be considered. Faxed bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly recorded immediately following the closing time set for the receipt of bids.
