Description

The St. Louis Regional Airport Authority (“Authority”) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors (“Contractor”) with experience in conducting roof inspections, repairs, and entire roof replacements. The Contractor shall also be licensed and insured for conducting business within Illinois. The Contractor shall have previous experience working with membrane roofing materials.

Project Overview
The Authority owns an approximately 15,700 square foot aircraft hangar with a slightly pitched membrane roof. Recent inspection has found the existing membrane roof in need of replacement. This building located at 4 Airline Court East Alton, IL 62024 was constructed in 1982. It is estimated the roof is original to the facility. The project will include a new membrane roof installation on this facility.

Scope of Services
St. Louis Regional Airport will look for the Contractor to provide services to include, but not limited to:

Evaluation of existing roof
Identification of membrane product for replacement
Determination of removal or overlay of existing membrane roof
Installation of new membrane roofing material
Compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations

This RFP is intended to create a fair and reasonable method for obtaining responses from interested parties. By issuing this RFP, the Authority is not obligated to enter into an agreement with any of the interested consultants. The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals submitted and to waive any and/or all irregularities pertaining to the submission of proposals. Prevailing wage must be included in any provided proposal along with itemized breakdown of services. The selected Contractor must be licensed to perform this work. Site visits will only be allowed by pre-arranged appointment only. Contractors shall not visit the site without prior coordination through the Airport Administration Office using the contact information below.
