2023-005 - Re-sprout Spraying

The project scope consists of management of undesirable vegetation using herbicide in various woodland and prairie areas managed by Polk County Conservation. These areas have recently been mowed and/or burned within the past two years. Herbicide application should be focused on all undesirable vegetation re-sprouting in these areas. Attached maps show the areas to be treated which total to be and estimated 180 acres. These maps and acres are approximate and will be finalized once a contractor is awarded bid. Some areas may be excluded due to condition of re-sprouts. The contractor will only be paid for acres treated.
