Description

The purpose for this RFP is to provide an opportunity for a competitive response from local businesses engaged in towing services to provide for the towing of Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Polk County citizens.

The initial agreement term is for three (3) years beginning July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2024, unless terminated earlier by either party, providing a thirty (30) day written notice. Polk County may extend this award for an additional two (2) successive one (1) year extensions, if it is in the interest of the County.

Additional Bidding Instructions

The Owner reserves the right to award this contract not necessarily to the firm with the lowest cost, but to the firm which will provide the best match to the requirements of this RFP and the needs of the Polk County. One (1) or two (2) contractors may be awarded.
The contractor shall be able to accept payment of invoices from the County in the form of standard purchase orders (POs) and/or via PCard (in the form of a Visa Credit Card).
