The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office (STPSO) is requesting sealed bids for MISCELLANEOUS Law Enforcement Uniforms & Supplies.
This contract is for (1) one year with the option of (2) two annual renewals, if the bid is renewed, the piggyback option will also be renewed. Orders will be made on an "as needed" basis for new hires, transfers, promotions, stock items, etc. for the duration of the contract.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office employs approximately 500+ uniformed employees. At a minimum, each new hire receives (4) tops and (4) bottoms.
**NOTE: All embroidery or patches utilizing Bar Gold coloring must consist of Fufu 561 thread for the purpose of
consistency throughout the uniform line.
All uniforms ordered/purchased by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office shall have Shoulder Patches, Badge Patch, Collar Insignia, Rank Tabs, Embroidery, Reflective "SHERIFF", and/or Name Tape applied to designated uniform(s) before delivery. Pants/Trousers must be delivered hemmed, unless otherwise notified. Softshell Jackets are to have Shoulder Straps applied. Law Enforcement shirts (Class A, Class B) are to have microphone and camera tab applied. Any custom orders on uniforms/boots will require the vendor to have a trained person responsible for taking proper measurements.
- Orders shall be received within 10 business days from date of order, or with approved extension by STPSO.
- Awarded products not delivered for two (2) consecutive weeks will be forfieited and award given to the next lowest bidder.
- Delivery Must be available to All Locations within the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office with the main delivery location at STPSO Training, 300 Brownswitch Rd. Slidell, LA 70458,
- Prices must include all shipping/fuel charges.
- NO MINIMUM order specifications will be accepted for this bid.
Prices submitted shall be the same for ALL sizes. No upcharges for lager sizes will be accepted. Vendor must indicate sizing method (i.e.: S, M, L or 00 - 44). Uniforms available in TALL/LONG must be specified. Prices submitted shall be inclusive for ALL sewn, embroidered, attached, applied, hemmed, etc. of uniforms. All awarded items shall continue to be of the same brand, color, and/or style for which prices have been submitted. No changes or substitutions will be allowed without the written authorization from STPSO. Bid prices shall include delivery of all items F.O.B. destination or as otherwise provided.
Sealed Bids are to be received by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Purchasing Department no later than 11:30 a.m. (CST), on Novermber 1, 2024. No bids will be received after 11:30 a.m. on November 1, 2024.

Bidders are responsible to ensure bid is received by the Purchasing Department no later than the above stated date and time. NO LATE Bids will be Accepted.
Bid will be awarded by Line item to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor(s) submitting the lowest cost meeting the required specifications. Vendor does not have to bid on each item to qualify. The Bid Line items requesting discounts may be approved to more than one vendor depending on the needs of uniform availabiltiy to the agency. To ensure consistency and uniformity throughout the agency, the brands specified are required to ensure that colors and styles are consistent throughout the agency, if brand is different it must be an identical style and color to what is requested for uniformity.
All items substituted must meet or exceed the published specifications of the specified item(s) listed below. All bids must include full detailed specification sheets, or similar data, to support item being offered if different from product specifications. Failure to furnish required data may be considered as cause for REJECTION OF BID for being non responsive.
Vendors electing to claim Louisiana preference, as defined by LA RS 38:2251, et. seq., must complete the attached Louisiana Preference Claim Form and present it as part of the bid proposal.
By signing and submitting bid, vendor certifies that this is the lowest bid prices for quality products.
Purchase orders will be issued as required by the ST. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and the Vendor's Only authority to ship.
Samples may be requested and will be at the vendors expense.

St Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office shall have the right to reject any or all Bids for just cause in keeping with La. R.S. 38:2214B.
