The Saint Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is requesting sealed bids for LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES. Bid contract is for one (1) year from the date of award with the option of two (2) annual renewals. If the bid is re-newed, the piggyback contract will also re-new. STPSO intends to purchase (1) or more of the items listed on this bid within the duration of the contract.
Bids must include the following items:
* Certificate of Insurance
* Signature sheet signed by an authorized representative (signature must be original and in ink. No photo copies or pencil signatures will be accepted)
* W9
* Specification Sheets if product being bid on is different than items being requested.
* Vendor Registration Form
Failure to submit requested information will result in the Rejection of the Bid for being non responsive.

Bidders must meet all bid requirements to be considered. All items substituted must meet or exceed the published specifications of the specified item(s) listed below. Specifications of items being offered must meet or exceed specifications of items listed below. All bids must include full detailed specification sheets, or similar data, to support item being offered if different from product specifications. FAILURE to furnish required data may be considered as cause for REJECTION OF BID for being non responsive. Upon evaluation of bids received, bidders may be asked for a sample to verify that the item proposed meets solicitation requirements. Requested sample shall be at bidders expense. Bid prices shall include delivery of items F.O.B. destination or as otherwise provided
Orders will be made on an "as needed" basis and NO Minimum Order will be accepted.
BID AWARD
Bid will be awarded by Line item to the lowest responsive, responsible vendor(s) submitting the lowest cost meeting the required specifications. Vendor does not have to bid on each item to qualify. Bid prices shall include delivery of items F.O.B. destination or as otherwise provided.The Bid line items requesting percentage discounts on MSRP pricing may be awarded to more than one vendor. All items that are bid on with % discounts, MUST include the MSRP to ensure the proper discount is applied. The vendor(s) offering the highest percentage discount on desired products will be given first preference when ordering.
- Orders shall be received within 10 business days from date of order, or with approved extension by STPSO.
- Awarded products not delivered for two (2) consecutive weeks will be forfieited and award given to the next lowest bidder.

- Prices must include all shipping/fuel charges.
- NO MINIMUM order specifications will be accepted for this bid.
The bidder represents that all equipment offered under these specifications shall be NEW. Used, Shopworn, Demonstrator, or Prototype models ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. All items substituted must meet or exceed the published specifications of the specified item(s) listed below. All bids must include full detailed specification sheets, or similar data, to support item being offered if different from product
specifications. Failure to furnish required data may be considered as cause for REJECTION OF BID for being non responsive.
Vendors electing to claim Louisiana preference, as defined by LA RS38:2251, et. seq., must complete the attached Louisiana Preference Claim Form and present it as part of the bid proposal.
By signing and submitting bid, vendor certifies that this is the lowest bid prices for quality products. In the event of a tie bid, vendors will be asked to submit a best and final offer.
Purchase orders will be issued as required by the ST. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office and the Vendor's Only authority to ship. Samples may be requested and will be at the vendors expense.

ST. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is Tax Exempt from Sales Tax.
St Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office shall have the right to reject any or all
Bids for just cause in keeping with La. R.S. 38:2214B.
