The County intends to enter into a contract(s) for the procurement of automotive paints and body shop supplies.
All paint materials must be labeled with the Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) that is less than or does not exceed the VOC Limits for compliance.
The contractor shall provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all paint materials.
Paint is not to be altered in any way, shape, fashion, or form.
Open or unsealed paint containers will not be accepted.
Vendor shall supply compliant paint coatings and materials in accordance with 40 CFR Part 63, Subpart HHHHHH-National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Miscellaneous Coating Manufacturing, and in accordance with the coating standards required by Maryland for automotive coatings and materials.
All paint material must be warranted according to manufacturer’s and industry standards.
Paint colors must match the shades of the paint that the County currently utilizes.
Paint must be delivered in the manufacturer's original containers.
Paint material must have been stored in the original manufacturer container, indoors, protected from direct sunlight, in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area, separate from oxidizing materials.
Paint material containers must be tightly closed and sealed until ready for use.
Paint materials must not have been stored above the temperature of 115F/46C.
