1111358 - Multilingual Health Navigation Line/Medical Interpretation

The overall goal of this RFP is to develop, implement, manage, and evaluate a model program that will increase access to quality health care for the low-income uninsured residents of Montgomery County including ethnic and racial minority populations and those residents with limited English proficiency. For the purposes of this RFP, the target populations have been divided into two Focus Communities.  Focus Community #1 consists of clients speaking Spanish, French and other Latin-root Emerging Languages.  Focus Community #2 consists of clients speaking Mandarin, Hindi, Korean, Vietnamese, and other Asian Emerging Languages.  Offerors proposing to provide services under this RFP are permitted to submit proposals for both Focus Communities but must submit separate proposals for each Focus Community.  The County intends to award up to two contracts for these services, one for each Focus Community.  The Offeror(s) awarded a contract under this RFP must consult with the DHHS Contract Monitor in planning and conducting activities for the implementation of the Scope of Services described in this RFP.
