1134271 - Transit Bus Line Inspection Services

The purpose of this Solicitation is to identify a willing and able provider of services to perform the contract for its designated terms by providing full-time onsite representation to oversee transit bus production in the bus manufacturing facility that is under contract with the County. The provider of services shall be referred to as the “Contractor”, and the individual or individuals providing onsite representation for the Contractor, on behalf of the County, shall be referred to as “Resident Inspector(s)” for the purposes of this Contract.  The Contractor, through its Resident Inspector(s), is required to ensure that the bus manufacturer strictly adheres to vehicle specifications and pertinent federal regulations as stated in the Contract between the County and the bus manufacturer. Additionally, the Contractor is required to ensure that the bus manufacturer constructs and assembles components for each bus according to industry-standard quality of workmanship.
