SOUTH BOSTON SEWER SEPARATION CONTRACT 1

THE WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT IS BEING PERFORMED TO SEPARATE EXISTING COMBINED SEWERS IN SOUTH BOSTON AND INCLUDES THE REPLACEMENT OF APPROXIMATELY 8,810 LINEAR FEET OF COMBINED SEWERS/SANITARY SEWERS, INSTALLATION OF 5,600 LINEAR FEET OF STORM DRAINS, AND 7,405 LINEAR FEET OF WATER MAINS, REHABILITATION OF APPROXIMATELY 1,570 LINEAR FEET OF EXISTING WASTEWATER PIPES, CONVERSION OF APPROXIMATLEY 2,915 LINEAR FEET OF EXISTING COMBINED SEWER TO A STORM DRAIN AND INSPECTION OF APPROXIMATLEY 2,250 LINEAR FEET OF EXISTING LARGE-DIAMETER COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW CONDUIT. THE ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE FOR THIS CONTRACT IS APPROXIMATLEY $17,200,000.00.
