Description

The City of Gloucester hereby solicits sealed bids from responsive and responsible vendors to provide On-Call Fire Protection Sprinkler System Installation and Repair Services in accordance with the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 149. A DCAMM Update Statement, a Certificate of Eligibility in the category of “Fire Protection Sprinkler Systems” and a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price. Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Rates and Davis Bacon wage rates shall apply and a Certificate of Insurance per the attached contract. The contract will be for one year with the option to extend for 2 additional 1 year periods at the sole discretion of the City.
