Town of Hull, MA (Owner) is requesting proposals for sewer repairs on Point Allerton Avenue in Hull, MA. The work generally includes sewer piping repair, extension of sewer laterals; and all labor, materials and equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work.
The scope of work is outlined in the document "Point Allerton Scope" available for download through bidnet. Proposals shall be based on a daily rate for a 5-man crew with a minimum 30 ton excavator and includes all trench boxes, road plates, trucking and disposal, detour signage, bypass pumping, dewatering, services and construction inherent to the work. Materials will be reimbursed to the contractor with a 15% markup. Proposals shall include said daily rate and an estimate of the number of days to complete the work.
Qualifications: Bidders must be Licensed Sewer Installers with the Hull Sewer Department. Bidders must have a minimum 5 years of experience with excavations over 12 feet deep.
Requirements: OSHA Training requirements and Prevailing wage rates as issued by the Director of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, Department of Labor Standards under the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws apply to this Project. A 100% Payment Bond is required for the project.
